Being able to edit career stats has to be possible because they do it with the updated rosters for MVP 2005. I don't know how they do it though.

^not at all. it doesn't "have to be possible"

not only are they two completely different games, different code, etc... MVP was identical to its own PC counterpart; that's the reason so much editing was accomplished w/ so much (relative) ease & so quickly. the relevant files were nearly identical

Any progress in regards to being able to edit the playoff schedule and the team needs menu in franchise?

does then newest editor allow you to edit kickers/punters to other positions? b4 if you tried to edit them to other positions they would have a very low rating.

^yes-- that issue was fixed a few iterations ago

it turns out the logical thought was correct; that there is a hidden attribute for kickers & punters known as "kicking style"

actually it's not completely hidden-- you can see it listed among the attributes during the in-game fantasy draft... i forget exactly but it's something like "1" for position players "60" for punters "99" for all kickers. if the kicking style does not correspond in this fashion, then the OVR rating will be greatly altered (eg a position player w/ a punter kicking style will have a very low OVR rating, etc)

thus, Finn changed it so that now when you edit a kicker or punter into a pos player, the editor automatically changes that attribute to 1 like all pos players are designed to have

i think this has been in there for over a year now

Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.
