Picture this.....do you remember how in older game you could pick how many teams were in your league wouldnt it be cool and you could have 119 teams in your league, and you could create all logos for a college game! Dont know about the polls or anything but it was just a thought.
I'm not going to be picky here. If we get a legends game fine, if we get a customizable generic game fine, and even if we get a game with a fake league im fine with that. I want the 2K experience for next gen.

Re: 2k is back guys OMG!!!!!!!!

Something has to be up & some credibility has to be involved if the link was all of a sudden removed. For some reason I have a gut feeling Microsoft is DIRECTLY involved. How is what I'm trying to figure out? & I don't mean this game being an XBOX360 exclusive.

My first hope is that NFL 2k5 is B/C with 360. Then the announcement that VC will be developing a FOOTBALL game for 2006, man that would be worth the purchasing of a 360 for me. October 5th mark your calenders Ladied & Gents

ever see advertisement for a food product with a NFL player, and hes not wearing his team uni? just team colors..

thats the same concept..Tom Brady could wear a generic jersey and still be in the game..

That's kind of different. That's more of a player giving an endorsement for the product, benefiting the product maker due to the player's celeb status. Neither Tom Brady nor his likeness is included with the food product when you actually buy it, and if his likeness is on the package, it's probably cleared the appropriate channels in the NFL offices.

In no way could they (VC) include in the game any player in the NFLPA. EA has rights to anything regarding the NFL (current players, logos, unis, stadiums, etc.)

The legends route is okay though, because none of the players signing are associated with the NFL. The guys who are in NFL Network (specifically Rod Woodson) might be a problem to get, but for the most part legends are okay.

It would be cool if they were reviving the old Fox Sports franchise that was on the PC in the 90'es.
