Just saw Nosferatu. While it was visually appealing, I didn't much care for the story. Orlock''s tale is too similar to Dracula's in my opinion. Hope Wolfman's story is better.

I've watched the trailer for 28 Years Later more than a few times already, because of the Taylor Holmes reading of "Boots".
At first I didn't know what it was (a 1915 recording of Taylor Holmes reading the Rudyard Kipling poem "Boots"),
I thought it must have been some long lost Rush (the musical group) song. But this reading is so powerful, so chilling and creepy, it would fit right at home in any and every horror film. To have been around in audio since 1915, I'm a little surprised I had never heard it before. It now surpasses Kipling's The Jungle Book as his best work in my opinion. I highly recommend a listen of the original 1915 recording on YouTube to anyone and everyone, regardless of interest in the horror film genre.

Yeah, I kew going in it was a knockoff of Dracula, but I didn't expect it to be that close in similarity. I plan on giving it another viewing on the small screen at some point. Perhaps then my stance will soften.

I watched Nosferatu on Peacock (extended version) and really enjoyed it.

The cinematography and editing was amazing. The acting top notch.

A dreadful vampire story indeed. I liked it so much I just ordered the 4K BD.

It's a slow burn story of darkness, evil and dread filmed to perfection.
