***The Official 2012 Black Friday/ Cyber Monday Thread***

Black Friday is now less than 30 days away. What is on your list and what's your strategy? This will also be the thread to post your haul during and after Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Only thing I'm really looking for is a nice 32" LCD to replace my 23" Acer monitor.
Would be nice to snag some cheap blu rays as well.

With Target basically saying they aren't doing Black Friday pricing, I'll be sticking with Amazon and Best Buy online and the local Walmart. Not going to bother with a Best Buy store.

This will also be the first time in three years that I won't be working Retail on Black Friday (I actually always volunteered to come in at 5am and work the dayshift). I still doubt I'll be doing anything other than sleeping or possible working. It's never worth the hassle to me to fight the traffic and crowds.

If I can find some cool online deals, I may buy a few things.

Re: ***The Official 2012 Black Friday/ Cyber Monday Thread***

Idk if i'll go out on Black Friday or not due to the LSU/Arkansas game and then me having to get back to Tally right after that game.

Odds are i'll do what I did last year with my mom and go to Walmart at Midnight to see if there are any good deals on video games/blu rays. Probably hit up Sports Authority in the morning as well, they had some good deals last year and not that crowded.

If I make it out to the mall in the morning I want to find some clothes for when I start my elem. education program next semester(I'll have to go into schools to observe,etc.). Maybe a few presents as well since this year I think i'll actually buy something for my parents and sister. Only problem with going to the mall is it's a madhouse, last year I made the mistake of driving through during school shopping and it took me 10 minutes just to get through the traffic so I imagine it'll be worse.

My Black Friday always consists of buying from Amazon. So much easier.

Will be hitting up Walmart as usual with the wife, seeing as how they price match everyone's ad.

Same. I may have to work this year, which makes Amazon pretty much the only option for me. Their deals are incredible.
