Simply a fantastic movie. They did a phenomenal job and I was pleasantly surprised.

Still hate the new costume.

I love the possibilities down the line. MJ, Brock/Venom, Goblin, etc.

As for the end credits scene:

Apparently it was Michael Massee cast as "the man in the shadows." There's heavy speculation it is Connor's alter-ego, creating his split self personality where he wants to help do "good" while the Lizard has other, nefarious (triple comic word score) intentions.

Others think it's Mysterio or the obvious choice, Norman Osbourne. This would work well with Stacy and would allow an incredible plot crescendo right before the third film.

I doubt it's Venom. Although one would have to wonder how he just disappears... during the lighting strike. Electro? I hope not - I don't think he can sustain a movie enough with the other characters (May, Gwen, etc.).

Sony just green-lit the two following movies with how well this is doing. Bravo - I'm looking forward to more.

I thought it was this when I saw it. Plus Connors seem to have been talking/debating with himself in a couple other scenes in the movie.

Thought the movie was good too. I saw it in 3D and it has a few 3D elements but it's not overly done like Captain America was. There's some cool 1st person webslinging but that scene is only a few seconds long. There's not a lot of crap being thrown at the screen for no reason.

Also would have liked to see them develop the costume more. I liked how it was developed in Spiderman 1, in this one he's just online shopping and all of a sudden he has this new costume. Wasn't crazy about it either.
