Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Two good questions:

1. How can I listen to playlists on my Motorolla Defy on Youtube? It seems as if when I search for a playlist of a band I want to hear, that when I click on the playlist result, it STILL plays just one video at a time, making me have to listen to one video, then go back on the browser to the video next in line!

2. Also, even if I could get this to work where youtube let me hear the playlist on auto play, how do I lock my screen so that I can just listen to the playlist without having to leave my phone unlocked. If I leave it locked, the browser stops (the video playing that I want to listen to while working out you see). If I leave it unlocked, I may bump into the touch screen, causing the video to pause or to the browser to go to some other video on youtube.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Does anyone else feel like AT&T is due for a high-end android phone? Sprint has the EVO family, Verizon has the Droid family and the Thunderbold, T-Mobile has the google phones (G2, Nexus One, Nexus S), while AT&T has the Inspire which is more of a mid range phone (Atrix may have good specs, but it sucks). Hopefully AT&T gets a nice phone (Desire S?) at CTIA, but it'll probably be a crappy Motorola phone and I'll be stuck with the Inspire.

Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

Not sure if I'm going to return my Evo and wait for this 3D phone?? Only really considering cause of the price point. If it's $199 for 3D might as well get the newest. We'll see Tuesday I suppose regarding the price.

You should get your wish now. Hopefully AT&T starts to get T-mobile phones sooner rather than later or they get some top-end phones now.

Yeah, I'm expecting some type of announcement at CTIA. Hopefully all the phones originally planned for T-Mobile (Pyramid and G2X) will have the AT&T frequencies instead. Or what they could do is let everyone on AT&T have the choice of T-Mobile bands or AT&T bands, so you can keep your AT&T contract but get a Nexus S with T-Mobile bands. I hope its the first one because I only have T-Mobile Edge where I live, but AT&T 3G.

Thankfully you were wrong, LG Thrill 4G and HD7 already on AT&T! Thats a good sign that the HTC Pyramid could be going to AT&T instead of T-Mobile.
