Tv guys!! 75 inch tv (Sony X90L vs Samsung Q8OD)

TV guru’s what do you get here ?

Both at Costco (I want their 90 day return policy and 2 year store warranty).

I found these two tvs similar in price.

Which one boys ?

They also had this Hisense for almost half the price. I’m not really sold on the brand. I don’t think I’d actually buy it but for fun….

But I’m really looking at the Sony vs the Samsung. Which one ??

Sony easily. Hisense has quality control issues and really are on the same level as TCL.

Yeah eh……I’m a Sony guy but the guy at Costco said the versing the two the Samsung was a way better tv.

Thus me running to this forum to get the truth.

Would you elaborate on those quality control issues? I was thinking about getting a Hisense but I'd like to hear about the negatives.

On their lower tier levels, Hisense, much like TCL and Vizio don't put the same level of quality components like they do in their upper tiers. I know a few people who bought Hisense from Walmart during their Black Friday sale, 3 out of the 5 returned them because the TV no longer shows a picture already and it only been a month.

Samsung is nice, however I just don't like their slow OS Tizen. And nobody beats Sony when it comes to picture quality and color accuracy out of the box.

Ok. So Sony it is…….I’ve watched/read over 15 reviews. The Sony beat out the Samsung every time in basically every category.
