2013 or 2014

Should I buy Pes 2013 or 2014? From what I've read on a ton of different sites, 2013 is the better game. I just downloaded the 2014 demo and enjoyed it a lot. I just wanted other people's opinions.

What I will say is immediately playing both soccer demos this year, PES2014 was a day one purchase. After playing both soccer demos in 2013, neither really made me want to spend any money. Combination of realistic movements, animations, graphics, and gameplay are important. PES2014 is the ONLY soccer game this generation that has all four elements nailed.

From what I have seen of PES2015, it will also be a day one purchase. It will also be the only soccer game I get for the PS4.

I played the hell out of 2013, from release day onward, and it has been severely overrated by people who were (understandably) disappointed with what 2014 looked like at the beginning. It is bad. Go with 2014.

I went ahead and bought 2014 bc it was $10 less than 2013 at GameStop. I don't regret buying it, but I wish I would have been able to give 2013 a try before I made my decision.

That's why I always buy used at Gamestop. You have a week to return the game for a full credit. Worth checking it out.

From a visual standpoint, going from 14 to 13 would be a pretty stark drop off; so I think you are fine with what you have. 15 will be out in a little while too.
