Wow, that is horrible.

I can buy the Xbox that watches me fap or go back to stoneage functionality with the PS4. Might be time to invest in a gaming PC.

I can't remember the last time I used my PS3 to listen to cds or stream media from my PC. Not a big deal in my book.

This has nothing to do with whether one listens to music or watches videos. It's the mere fact that editing for this game can only be done with file transfer once option files are completed.
