This issue however is not something technical, it actually due to licencing. EA have been extremely aggressive with signing deals with clubs and leagues this year, and it has meant we can't implement major European stadiums, including NO Spanish stadiums. People were getting worried when they announced exclusive deals with Spanish teams. Well it turned out it meant we couldn't implement their stadium, amongst others.

Wow! I never counted the real stadiums in '13, but it must have been at least 30(?), and now '14 will have roughly 14. That's extremely disappointing, to say the least. I find it hard to believe EA will actually include all the stadiums in their game that PES is now excluded from. From what I understand, EA usually only adds 1 or 2 new stadiums per year(?).

Giving us an editor opens up endless possibilities. This is how you counter features that are missing.

I will buy PES 2014 so I can contribute more funds for them to purchase more licenses.

Pretty much EA's actions. They just want a monopoly on sports games and who can blame them when they have a possibility to bring in tons of money yearly. It is great for them and stinks for us consumers. With the way PES 2014 looking this year I am sure EA is watching them closely and will be looking to remove any fighting chance in the future for PES to make any dent in their sales.

EA has announced three new stadiums so far: Nou Camp is back (it wasn't in 13), Goodison (where Everton Play), The Bombonera (where Boca Juniors plays) and there are rumors there are more. Yes, EA is grabbing Europe since Konami is focusing so much on Asia.

Still gonna buy PES 14, it's the better soccer game. FIFA is too arcade for my tastes.
