Yup. Try disabling your antivirus and re-running. If that doesn't work, reinstall the patch. You could always re install the demo, too.

I used the 34-team PC patch first; then I downloaded the 71-team version and merely let it overwrite everything in the PES2012 directory. However, I got a message on my Norton Antivirus that suggested a level 1 heuristic virus was in the "PES2012 demo - replay disable tool" executible. Harmless and can be easily removed, which Norton did. Every other file in the 71-team patch passed muster, as in no virus. The demo runs great.

Highly doubt it's a virus. It's just that norton is thinking a modified exe file's code is a virus.

This is just another reason to not run antivirus such as Norton/McAfee.

I've only played one game on the second demo and already it's given me more enjoyment than over two hours of playing FIFA 12's demo.

The shooting is vastly improved for the second demo, and the ball physics are absolutely beautiful.

I'm buying both games but surely now PES will be my single player game of choice. It's the best recreation of football I've ever played I think. And I don't normally jump to conclusions after one game!
