Yeah,

I dominate possession in the majority of my Master League Online games, only to lose because some idiot just hits the Triangle button and gets perfect through balls, and gets easy goals.

It pissed me off so much that I bought FIFA 11 to play with Manual Only Controls online.

I love PES offline. Most fun I have had with a Sports Game this gen, but online it is horrendous because of the idiots who just hit the through ball button all game long. When I do win which is rare, I act like I won the World Cup in real life. Such a travesty because I love the way that Master League Online is set up.

It's terribly unfortunate, but such is the way of life.

Playing random people in sports games is never, and I do mean never, going to be a consistently good experience. In fact, it will almost always be terrible.

Yeah, I know it far too well.

Playing FIFA with Manual Settings is the best I have ever experienced against random people. Cheesers are virtually non-existent.

I wish that PES would do something similar.

Nope. I just got it, and I'm in love with it. Best sports game I've played. Granted, I wasn't the biggest soccer nut in the world, but it does everything I want it to do, and more.

Case in point, in the Become a Legend mode, I got offered a 4 year contract worth a lot more money than I was currently making (but I was leaving my team that I had become rather attached to)... luckily, I made a save just before I left, and I'm glad I did. I went back to my other save with my old team, and kept playing for less money. The things that this game does right, getting you involved in your become a legend, etc, is great.

I've never really gotten into a game that you learn the nuances of your teammates, and get relatively acclimated to where they will take the shot, where they pass from, and just their overall demeanor.

Awesome game.

PES 2012 coming out Sep 27th.
You can still get PES 2011 for cheap now and just trade it in for PES 2012 later on.
This way, u get a sense of how it plays out and if u dont like the way PES plays, u can trade it for FIFA.
But overall, I much prefer PES.

There are problems with the CPU AI, both your team and the computers.
However, it is less glaring than FIFA and PES is much more enjoyable.

I am so happy right now. I just discovered Coach Mode for Master League Online.
