PES 2008- XBOX 360

I am playing a seasons with a great option file, but I have questions for anyone who has the game on either system:

1.Why are my players fatigue low from one game to the next? I play one game then go to the next and some of my players fatigue is at the half way point at the start of the match.

2.I am new to Soccer and I would love someone to help me out about strategy and who is who and where and what they should be doing on the pitch. I have played PES before and I just fell like I am just running around trying to score without really knowing what the H I am doing.

Thanks in advance.

1. There are 2 reasons for this probably. The first is that fatigue is a little broken this year, no matter how you play your players will always need to sit out after 3 or so games. Also, if you use the square (or x-button) on defense, along w/ the sprint button, all the time it will really tire your players out. One thing I found that made fatigue a bit more realistic was playing 15 minute halves. Gives a more well paced game, as well as more representative fatigue.

2. It really isn't a complicated sport, especially compared to something like baseball or football. Just look at your formation and go from there. The fluidity of soccer, and of this game, are really what make it fun!

Hold the modifier when you pass in order to have the passer make a run after kicking the ball. This is how you set up sick give and go plays and get the offense flowing.

Fatigue is accumulative from each game. I think there's an option to turn it off...that might just be in FIFA though, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the response fellas. I have my halves at 20 mins so I will drop it to 15 and see how it works out.I am really becoming addicted to this game. I have played PES before but I am really enjoying this on the 360.
