Re: What do you want from practice mode in ufc4

Rotating fighters, so you can do 1 round vs Anderson Silva for 2 mins, then straight into 1 round with Gastelum, then straight into 1 round with Bisping etc with no health regen etc.

Training mode really is the place where we can have goofy arrangements like that.

Another one could be, one guy only grapples, the other guy only strikes, or something like remove submissions from Red Corner, remove punches from Blue Corner. So handicap style fights, like punches only vs kicks only.

Open weight fights of course.

Would love to see some training gear like head guards, for example if we select the No Health Degen option, perhaps the dude wears a head guard, some shin guards and gloves?

Option for a ring and a mat.

Starting off in a position / positional training, where it resets if you get up or whatever.

Rounds would be great too. Like 1 min x 3, 10 min x 3, etc.

The custom sliders are a must too!

Starting off handicapped, e.g. limping, or head hurt, or body hurt, with us able to set the percentages of damage accumulation.

A position reset button, where you can rewind 5 seconds by pressing the analogue stick in or something. Perhaps there was something that you wanted to do differently, so you can rewind it 5 seconds and try something else. Or if you wanted to continually drill a takedown defense from a certain moment, you can keep rewinding and practising.

Some of those would be grand!

One thing I'd like is a reset button which brings both fighters to the middle of the cage. It's just a reset. Tekken has one.

Thanks Hammer for this thread ...I would add . That once we input a strike the buttons should display on the screen yo see if we are doing it right .

Practice mode should have a detailed " what you should do in this scenario when defending of attacking ( striking ) similar to the grappling assist instruction display in practice mode .

Re: What do you want from practice mode in ufc4

- Highlighting combos so you can practice them without going through the menus to revise inputs. Generally speaking faster and less cluttered menus.

- Multiple AI recordings (So you can practice e.g. recognizing head kick and body kick starting frames)

- Grappling recording

- More specific AI presets ("Grappling" is useless for practicing clinch denials as the AI just goes for takedowns).

- Proper tutorials for everything from essentials to hidden mechanics such as submission counters, transition fakes and proper explanations for stats. I doubt that even 10% of the player base knows what endurance, health and toughness do.

Re: What do you want from practice mode in ufc4

- I wanna be able to set the CPU to do a specific grappling move over and over. Such as a certain getup from stacked guard, that I can’t seem to deny for the life of me. If I fail the denial or we change positions, the CPU should just remain dormant on the ground until I re obtain the position... at which point it would just continue going for that same move over and over.

- I’d also like to be able to create a “restore point”, such as from a specific grappling position, which I can resume to at any time. So if I wanna drill something from half guard, I don’t have to go through 30 seconds of shenanigans every time we change positions.

- This seems like total common sense, but we should be able to do this online, against another human. Same idea of being able to pre-set certain positions, tons of stamina and GA options, just with a human.
