What would you like to see added to striking

I want to see hand fighting and the ability to choose betweeen hard or fast strikes. Very very basic striking concept. Would deepen and make the game far more realistic. The equivalent of nate/nick boxiing. No strike is always thrown at the speed or power. This mechanic would be based on how real life strategy is actually used Also get rid of queued combos. You took strike cancels from ud3 but feinting is only half the battle. It would make spammers more pronounced and actually show whos really good at the game. Im not even suggesting something that hasnt been done before. Ud3 had it.

Block with one hand and strike with other ...adding depth to block counters ...but only for repeated round strikes Sha . Not sure this is viable for straight strikes. I could be wrong .

Re: What would you like to see added to striking

For ufc 4:

1. dynamic body damage. I'd like to be able to have limbs break (hands at least) and individual limb stamina/health.

2. It would be cool if some moves changed level depending on regular/switch stance; some more effective some less depending on the fighters dominant limb.

3. agree with the need for different speeds/power on strikes.

4. get rid of some of the recovery frames that make it so everyone has a chance to throw at the same time. some scenarios leave you just standing there when there is a perfect counter opportunity because the game is setup to delay you until the first frame when the opponent can also throw. Especially after blocking a combo. We need much more free flowing strikes.

5. Make the combo system help combos come out faster but not limit your ability to throw certain things. Some guys can't even throw jab-body roundhouse. Stupid.

For the most part, I like where things are. I would love for ratings to be split up again between punch/ kick power and speed.

Get rid of the combo system entirely.

Rebalance the stamina system to actually reflect reality.

Youve said this serveral times. Please explain how your alternative would work. Would it just give everyone every combo, or would it remove it making every punch a single movement with no flow.

Better flow into grappling situations.
