Is it scientifically possible to beat t4h recognize?

This guy has smashed me so bad last few times I played him. I think it’s 3 in a row, first round KO losses now. I don’t think I’ve ever been so dominated in an MMA game.

He’s #1 or #2 on the leaderboards, but unlike other top players, he’s got this unique ability to RUN THROUGH people using ridiculously basic, simple tactics. He was ranked #1 on UFC 1, and I remember he would just throw jab power hook, jab power hook, jab power hook. Super basic, simple tactics... yet somehow when the fights over, you lost and you’re just like, “how did I just lose that”.

Something about the consistency maybe? His will to win? I have no clue what it is that makes him so good but he’s back at it on UFC 3.

On UFC 3, he’s all about forward pressure, throwing bursts of 2 or 3 punches. Real basic combinations - jab straight, hook hook, etc. He just maintains this steady, constant flow of forward pressure, completely destroying your block and head health. If I try to throw back, I’m rocked immediately. Try to use head movement? He’ll just stand there til I’m done, then resume destroying my block and head health as I attempt to retreat.

So anyways I actually YouTubed him to see how people deal with him in ESFL. And guess what I found? Jigsaw vs T4H recognize. Great matchup.

Jigsaw is literally known for being ridiculously hard to do anything to. He can’t be clinched or taken down - at all. Doesn’t matter how well you set up the clinch attempt - he will shrug off every single collar tie over the course of 5 rounds. He ALWAYS has a stamina advantage and has a way of making you feel like your offense is useless. He’s basically a very good decisionator, though most people get pissed by the 3rd round and get rekt.

So anyways, jigsaw seemed like the PERFECT matchup for T4H recognize. Polar opposites. As I said, recognize just annihilates people with forward pressure, and jigsaw as probably the most frustratingly defensive player in MMA gaming history. At least on Xbox.

So I saw this on YouTube and thought, wow, let’s see how Jigsaw deals with T4H recognize. If there’s a defense that exists to deal with “Recognize”, jigsaw must know it.

Here’s the video. Spoliers are below it:

https://youtu.be/WXbOEeDRyME

So as you can see, even a highly skilled defensive player like Jigsaw couldn’t stop this attack. He had the stamina advantage like he always does against pretty much everyone, but the damage just kept building up until he died.

So what’s your guys’ assessment of t4h recognize? How would you deal with this... is it scientifically possible to stop? Clearly defense isn’t effective... if it was, Jigsaw would’ve shown it. T4h recognize’s stamina loss won’t be significant enough to matter, and the damage dealt from the constant output is too much to survive for 3-5 rds. So are you forced to just counter and fight fire with fire? Is there no way to use his constant output to your advantage?

Look forward to hearing yalls assessments/ tips/ thoughts.

P.S. nothing but respect to t4h recognize. You’re a beast.

You can beat him and really anybody with submissions if you have a great understanding of the ground game and clinch. I beat him multiple times in UFC 2 but in UFC 3 it's very difficult to grapple with him because he pre-denies the clinch and stuffs takedowns simultaneously. When you do take him down or get him in the clinch you have to work really hard to hold him there and it's actually easier for me to hold him down in my guard; if he rolls into sprawl from the bottom of side mount then that's a free get-up most of the time while he enjoys doing lots of transition fakes from his full guard to build grappling advantage and get up.

You're now forced to stand and strike with him while most of us don't stand a chance especially when he gets a stamina advantage on you from shrugging off your clinch attempts and stuffing your takedowns.

He is a very, very good grappler in game and to his credit he has tried to grapple with me in UFC 3 until deciding he had enough and doesn't wanna risk getting caught in a triangle or another submission. I remember he out-pointed me with a decision recently and sent me a friend request afterwards.

35 landed out of 137 thrown in the first, and it's a heavyweight. Yeah, some would say he lost a lot of stamina but that's only in the context of the game, it's not nearly enough.

Edit: saw the rest of it, the stamina issue is glaring. Is this from July?

Don't you think the title might be just a tad too exaggerated?

There have been numerous high level players here who swear on outside/defensive/counter striking being the way to go so here's their chance to shine here. In my opinion going 35/137 should not be a viable strategy whatsoever.

In the game - because you can get countered. In real life - because you can get countered and because you'll gas badly.

I loved Lurch's Chris Weidman jab jab jab jab in UFC 1. It was like you couldn't even take a second to scratch your nose without another jab hitting you. That kind of assault was a thing of beauty.

Don’t think I’ve fought him in UFC 3 and I won’t sit and say my style is tailor made for him but I will say I hope I match him this LEC to get a look at this sorcery
