Long term leg health effects

I brought this up a while ago, but it didn't get much discussion. I'd like to see something in the way of long term leg health having a better impact. A quick lab shows that regardless of leg health (even when at its lowest state on both legs) there is really no other substantial changes. Power remains the same, stamina drain also appears the same. speed seems the same when not in a leg health event.

The easiest things to implement would be an increase in stamina for kicks when the leg is damages, or a reduction in power, or both slightly, and more severely when at a critical state. IRL even your punches should get weaker once you can't plant.

The point is , right now there is nothing. What do you guys think?

Leg kicks are already annoying enough in this game, seriously everyone throws the jab-leg kick cheese all day now or leg kick while circling. Yeah you can block them but not reactive, and you are likely to get head kicked in the process or overhanded.

In my opinion i think it will be al little too hardcore.
I like the leg kick direction they took but i start noticing that in some recent fights they are not super huge like in the game, they slow you down but i dont remember anyone fall recently. Also its a game at the end of the day, i think it will be really frustarating to deal with such effects if you get a bit careless

It would be more realistic i 100% agree with you on that, but in terms of balance its a bad idea Because its hard enough to keep trying to fight back when someone knows your legs are dead. They can just spam you over and over again or even feint and then go up top and rock you,i believe you need something to fight back with at least. It would end up like having zero stamina and fighting someone with full stamina you have zero way of winning except an extremely well timed hail mary punch.

I agree there should be more pronounced effects for targeting any particular limb.

Head- decreased accuracy, chin, etc
Body- decreased speed, endurance, heart, etc
Legs- decreased power, footwork, TDD, toughness, etc
Arms (if they were included)- decreased power, blocking, etc

what about just a power reduction? it seems ridiculous getting head kick KO'd by a guy with 2 smashed legs.

I like this. Chin is already done with the head, but I would definitely love the accuracy one. God knows how many half dead McGregor players would be helpless from throwing one of those magical left hooks.

Legs already affect footwork and GA if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Long term leg health effects

I suggested a long time ago that when your one or maybe two leg KD's away from the fight ending, the limp state should be permanent.

You'd thus have a permanent movement speed and power disadvantage for the rest of the fight and basically be forced to either defend your leg or grapple.

People weren't keen, and I could understand why lol. But I'd still love to see it even as an offline only custom fight option or something.
