Is this intended?

I have to ask - what am I supposed to do here against this? It's incredibly frustrating to deal with. Tried to get away - occasionally could find a counter but they were few and far between.

Also look how drastic the stamina drain is on the new R1+RT back scoot. . . Within the first minute.

Re: Is this intended?

This what I've been dealing with, it's especially the case when playing Mike Perry EVERY time so far too. All I can do is turn it into a 1-2 spamfest and time it right after the end of their 3 punch combo, but that just gets boring.

But everyone is just pushing forward more now to just break the block. Plus since they're not exactly heavy strikes, I guess the stamina doesn't drain nearly as much as they should, even while constantly moving forward which is a problem.

This has been most fights for me. I don't back up nearly as much, but the spam basically puts you in a position where you literally can't do anything.

Yeah in this particular fight I think I threw 23 strikes total in this fight but due to me trying to survive I have nearly half of my stamina gone - he throws 150 strikes and has nearly full stamina.

Makes no sense

Re: Is this intended?

You need to use minor sways to make his jabs and straights miss.

That's what i have been doing at least.

I've been doing that as well and even a few times in this fight. The problem is he would blast me with hooks occasionally which would blow me up during minor sways.

Still not enough risk for players wrecklessly throwing combos

Re: Is this intended?

lol Of course it's IMUHBOXER. Anyways, this is extremely low level play on his part. You can minor slip his jab and land your own and you can also plant your feet and throw the jab-rear uppercut-lead hook combo once he's missed a few strikes.

Plainly put, this should never work against someone that knows what they're doing. The patch just came out so I'm not expecting everyone to know what to do. The minor sways also cause you to take significantly less counter damage if he was throwing an occasional hook. Which the ratio was like 12-1 on straights to hooks.

Re: Is this intended?

I think (and hope) all we need is stamina taxed more on forward moving combos like this. I just end up doing the same thing right back to the opponent, and win or lose, it's just really a dull fight. Every other method has been too risky for me besides maybe circling out while jabbing.
