Anyone else having trouble loading the game?

Console: PS4

Game was working fine earlier. Now, ever since the "Fantasy Event" update the game won't load. I get to the "Press Options Button" Screen and then it just hangs there. Won't go to menus. Just shows the background with UFC2 in upper left and EA logo in lower right. Menu doesn't come up, can't back out, have to restart the game. I've tried this over and over only once getting to the menu and then it locked up when trying to enter Ultimate Team that time. Is EA having issues? I searched Twitter and no one else seems to be having any. Is it possible my game has corrupted somehow?

I had the same issue on my PS4 last night.

I solved the problem by uninstalling the game and re-installing it. Not saying it wouldn't have resolved itself if I was more patient but this did work.

Mine 2 I can't get it to work, stuck at the start loading screen and have to restart it.

Try starting it with your internet off. If it loads, there is something with the sign in. Might need to report it.

yeah this is what I ended up doing and it worked for me as well. Somehow just got corrupted I guess

this happens to me about 60% of the time i called EA and they do nothing
