Clinch punches having health event potential is very important for balance. If you notice the most common clinch combo (and often first goto) is elbow to heavy knee for it's health event hit reaction.

I feel this is an artificial unintended consequence. I don't mind this as much as the lack of the same for clinch punches which in all honesty you seem occur much more frequently in MMA fights.

I wish they'd make GnP feel more satisfying, I never try to finish my opponent from there because it feels like the punches barely connect but have a lot of power for some reason. I wish we'd see heavy GnP smashing throw block to be the standard finish on the ground, not that technical looking BS where there's a silly 0.1ms animation of his hands going crucified and and keep punching him and only his head is kind of moving weirdly and still the punches don't really connect (especially the elbows, I think it looked better in UFC 1 and obviously way better in Undisputed 3)

Also, why aren't there more moveset changes where there are so many needed changes? I don't like how we have to make a super visible thread for them to react, why not get a guy to do all of that? Don't you want to make a better game devs? Why do we need to pour our hearts out like an annoying girlfriend for you to do something for the better? Conor has a flying knee and spinning back fists ffs, and they are very very effective for him, give those to only those who use them IRL to make fighters feel more unique please, we already don't have a lot of striking animations as it is so make the most out of them so they'll still somehow feel fresh

Well to be fair, the voting took place more than a year after UFC 1 was out and even hardcore fans (such as myself ) weren't really active on the forums and missed the vote

Most of them have done a good job though, but if they ever do GCers again for UFC 3 (or fight night ) I hope the community would be able to have a fresh election cycle lol

I have a feeling a few of the best would definitely be re-voted as GCers (if they volunteered) but some fresh blood/perspectives would be nice, too

My fighting style is pressure standup and defensive wrestling to keep it on the feet. My ground game is ok not great. Good enough to get back to my feet or get a sub, but not good enough to smother.(not so I care to).

I'm currently in div 6. I've won several belts with my longest defense being about 4 or 5. Nearly every time I've lost the belt it's been to clinch. I'd even say 90%-95% of my losses are to the clinch. Lol

I'm ecstatic about this news. Lol

I have no inside information but I dont think that they are going to force the current gamechangers to be "reelected" especially when some of them (including me) were never elected. I have a feeling that some of them may not come back and will need to be replaced and they may add a few more though.
