Well, I can happily say I recognize about 3 names in the whole list and would never listen to either of them voluntarily. Mute day 1

It's not just this title, either. I stream, so I pretty much HAVE to mute the jukebox. But even when I'm not streaming, it's been a good decade since I didn't mute an EA soundtrack. NHL, FIFA/FC, first thing I do right after installing: Options, Audio, Mute All Music.

NHL once opted to throw in a few arena standards--"The Final Countdown" still works when it comes up late in the 3rd, I can attest--but ever since, it's been just about wall-to-wall flavor-of-the-nanosecond tripe, on every OST.

Then again, what's a fuddy-duddy like me know about contemporary music?

I laughed out loud the first time BDFQ came on. What a crazy thing to end up on the soundtrack to a sports game. I don't dislike it, though.

I think game soundtracks used to be a great way to get your music out there. Like, getting a song on the Madden or FIFA soundtrack would get your song out to millions. Now, it's a lot easier to just create a viral TikTok or something
