Ok so ive only had the game one night and im trying to determine if the UT mode is actually worse than in UFC 2. Maybe im jumping the gun a bit but there is a few things right off the bat that are huge problems for me.

first thing i go to do is create my old characters to bring them over. I get a created fighter card to use to bring my guy in, i go to look and its only for a grappler? So I cant even bring the guy i have been using as a thai fighter from the old game unless i want him to be a grappler. so i have to sit and wait for a striker card at that weight class to pop up. which who knows when that will be.

huge problem number two is that there are only 3 slots compared to 5 last game. they give u a women slot but i have absolutely 0 interest in womens mma never used a female in any ufc game before so its a waste for me. thank you for pushing womens mma down my throat ea i really appreciate that.

so whats the deal with these 3 slots? if i use a caf card on those slots can i take that card off and the fighter will still be attached to it, or will it revert back to a basic caf card? how does this even work?

It's worse for sure. To much meta. Challenges are so restricted you need 10 fighters to complete them not sure what these temporary moves are all about.
I'm not sure I can stand to bear the pain this time.
Anyone know how to get credit for specialist challenges?
Or striker challenges? It don't count toward anything. I've tried 3 fighter in 5 fights and can't get credit for 1 strike

It’s worse for sure. It seems like they spent too much time on career mode and striking. Didn’t add much on the grappling and pretty much stripped the UT of the fun making it ranked championships with limited moves and CAF.

I have 45 fights already and so far the only created fighter card ive gotten is the LW grappler card i got from the starter pack they first gave me. What is the point of this lol
