NHL 16 Roster Update Available, Details Included (1-14-16)

Another NHL 16 roster update has just arrived for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers to reflect the current lineups in the NHL, Liga, SHL, DEL, Extraliga ledniho hokeje, and National League.

Below are some of the updates, let us know what you're seeing.

GOING UP

• Evgeny Kuznetsov +3 (87)
• Artemi Panarin +5 (85)
• Max Domi +6 (83)
• Shayne Gostisbehere +8 (80)
• Leon Draisaitl +12 (84)

GOING DOWN

• Jonathan Bernier -1 (84)
• Tyler Johnson -1 (87)
• Ryan Miller -1 (86)
• Ryan Kesler -2 (87)
• Chris Kreider -2 (85)

Follow these directions to download the updated NHL 16 rosters:

• In the NHL 16 main menu, select (Customize)
• In the Customize section, select (Roster)
• In the Roster section, select (Active Rosters)
• In the Active Rosters section, select the most recent update organized by ‘Date & Time’ under EA SPORTS NHL Official Rosters.

Glad after all that EA put out a ratings adjustment. Better late than never, eh?

Was the Johansen—Jones trade implemented? Won't be able to check for a bit, thanks.

Super glad to see Jonathan Bernier (yes, he of the 0-8 start, he of the demoted to AHL, he of the 6-11-3 record, he of the .896 S%) only go down -1 from the start of the year.

Also glad to see Draisaitl get a huge boost (not joking on this one). Less glad to see him still rated 3 below Ryan Kesler, who has half the points in ~10 more games.

The fact that EA decided to showcase astronomical rises, such as +12 for Draisaitl and +8 for Gostisbehere, and showcase minuscule descents for players who have seriously underperformed, tells me a lot. It tell me that they won't be releasing another ratings adjustment for a while, hence the small decline—you'll still be able to use your favourite players at a high overall for a while. It tells me that player ratings remain too high, both overall and in roster updates, and that roster updates are only slightly adjusted for the "now."

did anyone come across any major upgrades in addition to the ones that EA listed? I would rather not mess with rosters and risk overwriting my custom rosters, etc.
