EASHL Player Progression

Since there won't be any type of EASHL player progression implemented, has this changed your buying decision about NHL 16?

EA's official stance on it:

"What we learned through research and fan feedback is that fans wanted an even playing field so that team and player skill would be the determining factor in who wins hockey games. With the new EASHL, we’re removing the progression grind, which many of you told us created an unbalanced online experience, in favor of a new player class system. You now choose to play as specialized player classes that have their own strengths and weaknesses. Player skill and your ability to play as a team will now be the determining factor in who wins and loses hockey games."

If anything, I don't know why they just didn't copy FIFA's system. It is not by any means perfect, but at least it's something than this garbage.

Yes, it's the only reason I'll be playing. The constant Legend 3 garbage last gen is why I stayed away from eashl

I never really played much EASHL in the past, but with this new move to static player types, I'll be playing a lot more.

I like the current system better than how EASHL used to handle it, but I think they should reconsider standardizing the speed ratings on builds and instead provide a few more builds with speed/size as a difference for more variety.
