Secondly, not everyone cheery picks and cheeses just because there's 2 of you. Position lock should be banned from VS period. My buddy and I have played hours upon hour's of NHL since NHL PA 92' or whatever. And we've always played legit.

Played my first BeaGM game.. it's definitely back to "organic" play where anything can happen. Puck seems to have better physics too.. maybe because I changed to "normal" puck size, but who knows if that really matters, I've always used authentic and it's too small it seems on current gen.

Two great games in row post patch/roster update. I'm back in that "one more game" mode I had when the game first came out. No more pass-pass-score, goalies play much better, game just feels like hockey for the most part.

Got some ONLINE Versus games in. Good News. Games we had good chances and scored. No more super goalie or predetermined 1-1 regulation games. I had scored a variety of goals and was able to get some from top of the crease. So far so good. Haven't tried HUT.

Tried OTP and bleh...........just not my thing I guess. Seemed like a mess.

Yup. The game is back to normal!

I restarted my Be A GM and played 4 games. They were all organic...felt good and fun to play again.

Only problem still are Penalties. Have them maxed but getting 1 per game, lol. I'm at 4 PP for the season while every other team has 20+ already...SMH, wish they would fix that.

Glad to see your digging the game again, Mizz. I'm going restart my GM mode and give it another try. That predetermined feel was just killing the fun for me. Great to hear that's possibly gone/toned down. Also noticed accumulative goals are now shown.

Yep very organic is back so hopefully they just do tuners now so everyone can chose how they wanna play but please no more changing the way the game plays and wasting another month of fixing it back to what it was ? but I even think its better now as stats in the box scores are more realistic

Oh and I switched to 9 minute periods now and Im getting and giving at least 3 to 4 PP plus a game a so pretty accurate and shots are now in high 20s and 30s so im good to go and ready to start my Playoffs .

Update : Ok this is what I really like as Im actually able to run a real NHL powerplay and the cpu PK is defending it is very realistically and positional and not just crazy mode so not bad for a video game.

Im down 2-0 to NYR as Habs and Im loving it because nothing stood out weird and how it happened was very smooth and natural and thats all I can ask for from a sports video game and real human interaction so thanks EA NHL you got the most important thing right and thats gameplay .

I'm pleasantly shocked they have it playing like this and the new Blues jersey look incredible, the colors really pop. What do you mean accumulative goals are now shown?
