24/25 NHL season with 2025 prospects

All- As we all anticipate STLGAMERS deep and accurate rosters for drafts 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030 which usually drops late November to early December, I should have my "in the meantime" roster ready by Thursday which are great for guys that like to Play a Franchise this season and next.

I usually get bored of development after year two (but sometimes go a bit further) and start playing an ECHL full season.

I will have all projected top prospects from the NCAA, USA Developmental team, and Overseas players from the MHL, Sweden and Finland u-20 teams (around 100 prospects). I will also add some KHL players that have contract rights to NHL clubs.

I will also keep up with current FA signings, Trades, contract extensions, and tons of player attribute adjustments to help create a good simulation (IR guys get minor to significant drops to Durability based on their injuries).

In addition to the deep prospect pool for use during the 2025 draft, I will also have all ECHL teams up to date for those that like to play an ECHL season.

My rosters only touch North American leagues, unless current Free Agents sign overseas, I will put them on the clubs they sign with.

This year I will only put out one version a month. The first will be titled "Deep Dive Franchise 25" That is if they ever get the PSN servers back up...

There will be a delay as the draft class of 2024 isn't an option yet which is creating some issues. There is a work around but it adds a year to the player and will show they were all drafted in 2023. I assume this will be fixed in a patch, but as of now, I will share the roster later tonight, but it will be a work in progress (players drafted last year will not show they were drafted).

How does it work when you update rosters? Do you have to restart franchise? Also does anyone know how merger rosters works?

Yes you would have to restart your franchise for a roster update. You can only merge a custom roster with and ea roster. not custom to custom.

Question. For the recently drafted players that are still in camp like Beckett Sennecke. I started a franchise earlier and I'm in the preseason, I sent Beckett down and he went to the AHL instead of junior, will he still go to junior when the season starts or do I need to do this before I start the franchise?
