looking for a team

so obviously if i want to have a challenge the worst teams are teams like buffalo, calgary, florida

but instead of just starting bad, looking for a team that has older assets to move to start the rebuild, kind of like a bubble team to redo... any suggestions

Re: looking for a team

Vis a vis bubble teams, not sure...

But San Jose and Vancouver are two I'd suggest.

Detroit, Washington, Vancouver, San Jose, Carolina could all use a good rebuild.

I like playing with the 'Canes. Joni Pitkanen is a beast in shootouts, FYI.

The Staals are still young enough to build around, same with Alex Semin. I'd trade Cam Ward, though. Their defense is atrocious.

well the idea is trade the staals for a few picks/prospects each and really rebuild

Re: looking for a team

I did Washington recently, since the rumor that Ovi may leave came out I wondered how they would fair without the Russian.

Turns out not too bad Made a LOT of changes in the bottom 6 since they are literally all grinders and sent Tom Wilson packing, would progress to 82 then fall to 79 in a season. Packaged both Holtby and Halak for a 4.5 star goalie and rejigged the defense.

After it all, I have come to appreciate what a BEAST BAckstrom is. Doesn't matter who he center's, they WILL score goals!
