How do I get my (slider) settings to stick

Hi, hopefully this is a dumb question, but how do I make my settings to stick? I change my settings from something to "current" with custom sliders, and play a game. Finish the game. Start anew (quick game), and then my custom sliders are back to default. There seems to be no "in game" way of adjusting the sliders and save them, only adjusting them and go back to the game.

Now that I'm talking about it, I have a vague memory of having this issue in earlier releases too -- I seem unable to find the central "Eldebrink settings that always apply" (between game modes too). Is there a such, it should be?

Thanks.

Edit: Oh, this is NHL 13.

Re: How do I get my (slider) settings to stick

This bugs me too. This is my workaround:

Create a Be A GM file where you update sliders. Save those there. When you start the game, or need to load those sliders, load that Be A GM file and then exit out. The sliders should then be set.

I figured this out because I mess around with fantasy drafts with I'm bored. Fantasy draft a team and maybe play like one game before doing it again. It became annoying as hell to have to redo sliders every time for that one game, but if I did the new Be A GM after having been in one previously, the sliders would stick.

Thank you very much for you quick answer, much appreciated. I'll try your workaround and see how it works.

When your messing with the sliders at least on 360 their's a prompt at the bottom "press x to save" do that to save your settings in exhibition. The only thing you have to change every single time is the period length, that never saves, I know though the rest of my settings save as I've played a number of exhibtion games since getting the game.

Re: How do I get my (slider) settings to stick

There is no perfect way of doing this.
I think 13 worked similar to 14.

Be a GM Connected and Play Now uses the main menu sliders.

Be A GM uses it's own set of sliders (the ones you save in BaGM.

Season, just like BaGM uses it's own set as well.

When you're saving your "settings" in BaGM or Season, you are actually saving your BaGM or Season, not the separate sliders. Therefore you can not bring one set of sliders over from Season to BaGM in an easy way.

I ranted about this a few weeks back:
