NHL 13 Freeze When Goalie Covers the puck

I haven't played 13 since about December when this issue came up. I've asked many times and have gotten no responses or similar issues from anyone else. It's frustrating that there hasn't been another update to fix this, I liked 13 and wanted to play more, but this issue has made it impossible. I've been playing 12 since.

The issue is in gameplay. Whenever the goalie covers up after a save, or goes behind the net to play the puck, or if the net is knocked off, the game freezes. This happens 5 out of 5 times tried without fail. I'll ask this again. Is anyone else having this issue??

Nope. I don't have an issue like this. My game runs fine. Although sometimes when my goalie freezes the puck he will stay hunched down in the puck when the cut scene is on him. When the ensuing face off is ready, the goalie is as well.

I just figured if no one had this issue then no one would respond. Sorry if I came off like an A-hole

Ok. Are you connected online? Do you have all patches and tuners? What system you on?

Perhaps try deleting those and go back to "release day" settings.

Also try disconnecting from the Internet, if possible.

All I can think of at this moment, besides the usual inspection of the disk for scratches.

I think you have a bad copy, because the closest thing I've came to my NHL 13 "freezing" is when I have cutscenes where the goalie freezes the puck and just stays in the same position glued to the ice until the end of the cutscene.

I got a used copy for free from Gamestop for a bunch of trade ins. The first game is all choppy and impossible to play. Then the next game freezes in pregame warm ups. I guess I'm not meant to play NHL 13
