Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone here could help me. I just got NHL 13 and I am trying to download the first update 1.03 (47MB) and it is not downloading for whatever reason. Occasionally it will start by going very slowly and then disconnect with an error code 80710723. I know this is a Network Timeout error; however, every other part of my internet is working. Streaming works fine, I am connected to the PSN, and my household internet works. I have tried a few options: Resetting / power cycling the router / modem, Disabling the media server connection, deleting old NHL files, deleting other old game files, using hardwire and wireless, and nothing seems to be working. Without contacting Sony, I was wondering if there was anything else that I could try or if anyone else has this same issue.

Might be the EA servers...maybe they are doing maintenance. Might want to go into your PS3 network settings, and "reconfigure" your internet. Sometimes it gets "bogged" down and you have to reset it (and maybe reset your modem as well). If none of that works, it might be just an issue on EAs side.
