Eashl...getting whomped!

I've searched the forums and don't see any threads to help.

My 4 buds and I started a club. We are getting are asses handed to us. Now, let me say this......we are bad.. I'll be honest.

However, we have played 5 games and we are getting matched up with teams that have played 300 games! More experience and more importantly, their dudes (or dudets) are WAY more powered up than our bums.

Am I missing something? How does a team that has played 6 games with guys rated 56 compete with teams that have played 300 games with maxed out guys?

Honestly, just gotta keep at it. There's not a lot you can do until you either level up or use boost packs.

Re: Eashl...getting whomped!

I recommend 2 things:

1) play OTP instead of club. Have your buddies get on your side using the "custom 11" in online team play.

2) At least buy a boost pack. It'll give you a starting point until you get arround Pro (with lots of +5) or Super Star.

Basically, you guys will have to grind it during the first 60-90 games, because you are 'late' on most clubs out there. One tip: write down the +5 you would like to use and their offline requierments. Do the easier one by playing a few minutes of 40 Be a Pro offline games (using PRO settings, and *all* sliders to your advantage). You should be able to unlock most boosts in 3 or 4 hours this way. It's lame, but it's the free way to get most of the +5's quickly.

It's a shame that EA doesn't have a better game matching service. Star Craft II on Battle.NET is awesome at this. But, I understand that SCII has tens thousands of players playing at any given time while EA NHL might have a dozen of team searching. So, basically, if they did it any other way, we'd be in for an hour long wait until we find a fair/balanced match.
