GM Connected Free Agent Acquisitions

After doing a pretty thorough search for the answer to this question I have come up with nothing. So I apologize if this has already been asked.

For those of you who have already played the GM Connected mode for a little while, how does Free Agent signing work? How long does it usually take for free agents to make a decision?

Also, how long do you have to make a waiver claim?

i am currently in a full GM connected mode, and ive seen a lot of offers submitted to FA's. I believe it works or goes through (just like trades) when the play period is advanced. One can only assume, which team the players interest is high on, and most like how much you offer. Ive currently submitted offers to 3 players, and awaiting the first play period to be completed, and we will see if thats the case. As I said earlier, i believe the trades are pending, until the play period is advanced, hence the reason i assume the FA's work the same way
