Better/More Realistic Fighting.

There's a lot of things I want added and tweaked, but this is one thing I feel should be tweaked quite a bit: Fighting.

I don't want just throwing punches wildly. I want it so it takes skill. I want to watch a fight and actually be able to say "wow, this guys a really good fighter" so there's an admiration for that certain part of hockey. Tough Guys would actually have a role. Anything is better than the current system.

The new button lay out could be great and I think I know a good one. Maybe the left stick would be your balance. Maybe pressing on the right stick would be to grab the jersey, which would leave you open for a hit, and if you have a hold you could tug with the right stick. You could hit with the right and left triggers as your thumbs will be too busy to use the face buttons and you can't use the thumbstick to punch. I want there to be skill in fighting and an admiration for it!

The initiation of a fight could be different maybe too. Since there will be no cinematic scenes after the play we could have more time to initiate a fight. I like playing the tough guy role sometimes on EASHL and like to push guys out of the way, rough them up, or mess with their star. I especially protect team mates and goalies. There isn't much time to do that as the cut scene are so fast.

I love the grinder and tough guy role, and I love protecting my players and goalie. I like being a pest too. I feel NHL 12 is for finesse players and I would love the idea of improving the whole fighting aspect.

What I want is simple: CPU vs CPU fighting. I'm tired of the only fights coming from me. Especially in Be a Pro! I want to see CPU vs CPU fights. And if you're a gamer who says "blah, it slows down my game," then EA should add an option to turn that off.

Hey, at least they HAVE players on the bench during a fight though!
