Is it safe to start my season yet? [PS3]

Hey all, I've been holding out on starting a season in NHL 12 while freezing, framerate, and roster/jersey issues have been lingering. I honestly haven't touched NHL 12 in a few weeks now, and am wondering...is it safe to come out from under my rock and officially begin my season? I hesitated early on because I know some people would randomly get to a game on their schedule and the system would lock and the season was essentially corrupt. I didn't feel like having to replay a whole season over. For those of you (PS3) users who have begun a season, are things mostly trouble-free at this point (minus the sliders/penalties/non-game breaking issues)? Many thanks!

After having just one freeze in my first few weeks with the game, I've had 2 freezes while playing last night and this morning.

Can you still get through a season though? That's what I'm most concerned about. I'm an offline-only player, so if the season mode is still broken with corrupt saves, the game is pretty useless to me.

I play season mode and have had some random freezes when playing a game, maybe once every 15 games. I control all teams though I only play the more interesting games and have played about half the season.
I have injuries off and was still having goalies getting injured but that seems to have been fixed in the last tuner.
Audio and visual settings don't seem to save when you turn off your ps3 but other slider settings etc do.

Overall, no major issues.

I haven't had any issues with mine in year 4.
