after downloading the latest roster update, i've noticed that hitting has improved greatly animation-wise. I'm not seeing that " hit straight on, fall on face " animation at all... it's actually looking like it did out of the box.

Now I know there has been some speculation in the past titles that EA "hides" tuners in roster updates, but someone please call me crazy because this game has me guessin way to much lol

one more thing to add. Since the update 2 games played and 2 games frozen. this game is a trainwreck.

I'm actually getting fairly sick of hitting in this game, I tend to make two BaPs one serious, one for the arcadey style hit and shoot. My serious one my guy has 87 Body Checking 88 balance and 93 strength, and will barely knock phil kessel off of his skates, while my arcadey style(same sliders) guy with 99 strength, 99 balance, 99 checking, will get rocked to **** by Martin Erat. It's honestly the most frustrating part of the game. They barely move I get rocked, I take a full on charge and bounce off like I'm a quarter machine rubber ball.

Redshirt directly refuted this theory a while ago. He said the only way gameplay would change through a roster update would be by way of large-scale ratings changes.

No. He said there are no hidden updates. The only way a roster update would change gameplay would be if said roster had dramatically different ratings across the board. Which they don't.
