BaGM question for NHL 12 regarding mid-season signings

do you see any mid-season signings of significant players in BaGM? reason why i asked this is because this MIGHT be the answer of EA to the problem why significant players are sitting still in FA after the season. thanks in advance.

I've been asking this question as well. I got the season ticket, but have not found where in be a gm that you can sign players to extensions during the season...

Yeah, what's up with this? I had the Early Release for Xbox360 and now the EU retail for PS3 and I've been all over BeAGm without any luck of finding midseason contract extensions.

Can we add this to the list of things they've claimed to fix/add and haven't?

I just signed Justin Huberdeau, and Tomas Jurco as non-tendered UFA's both mid-70's with solid B potential 2 years into BeaGM..

I could be wrong here but I think it was a member of the IGN boards who attended the community day who said that mid season contract extensions and suspensions were both in the game. I'm wondering whether it was something they wanted to put in the game but it either didn't work properly or they just thought lets hold it back for next year. It's also possible the IGN member just got it wrong.

Does the game force you to have an 82 game season or do you have a choice this time on season length?

But some EA mods said that mid-season contract extensions were in this year, maybe just not for in the one for Early season ticket holders.

Also, suspensions were an idea that ea wanted to add in, but obviously wanted to add it correctly and this year they couldn't
