Now that this has happened numerous times, I have tried to pick up players via waivers in Be a GM but dont end up keeping them.

It goes to my minor team call up screen then when i leave the player isnt mine, and is showen as demoted into the AHL for the original team demoting said player.

any ideas why it wont let me claim?

You probably have a full roster and can't add anyone. Happened to me before.
