Game Freezes after a fight

Ok the last 3 out of 4 fights I've had the game froze right after. Idk why.

Btw FIRST POST FOR ME. I just registered. I come on here a lot for sliders and just general info, but now I am a member

I guess I have been one of the lucky ones as NHL 11 has never froze on me. I play mostly offline game modes though.

I too have had this happen about 3 times and now I don't fight...takes something from the game.

This has happened to me several times, always during the post-fight cut scene of both fighters skating off the ice. I've started just skipping it with A or trying not to change lines during the cut scene since that what seems to trigger it.

Would like to hear something from Redshirt on whether this can be fixed. I play every game (no simming) and have guys like Cam Janssen who are going to be way below their typical totals in PIMs because I've been avoiding fighting through the first quarter of my season.

Is this on the 360 version only or does it happen to the PS3 version as well? I'm assuming you're talking about the 360 because someone mentioned pressing the A button.

I play on a PS3 and my game froze, in HUT, following a fight. No problems since that one unfortunate occurrence but I was angry nonetheless.

I think it's when you try to change lines after a fight. It's frozen a few times on me doing just that. Now I don't change lines after a fight, and haven't frozen again.
