My Pro progression?

I've wondered since the beginning of last year now...I know that in offline Be a Pro, you obviously get points to increase your attributes after each game.

I guess I'm confused as to how to do that for your online player for OTP/EASHL games? Last year I played probably 150 OTP games as a goalie and had respectable numbers...probably 100 wins, 2.5 GAA, .900%...but I never once got any attribute points to increase my goalie's attributes. Meanwhile, I'm playing with guys who have their players as all 99's without buying the boost packs...

So...how in the world do I make my pro player better? I thought after each game I'd be able to go into XBox Live and then My Pro and the attribute points would increase a little after each game based on how I did, but it has never happened either in last year's game or this year's. Am I missing something here? Getting kind of sick playing with my 75 OVR goalie when everyone else on the ice is 99's.

Re: My Pro progression?

Only time I see points is when I got my cards, like rookie and pro cards. All it is based on is # of games played, and your overall position rating. Pretty stupid as a center it doesn't take into account faceoff win percentage, +-, assists, goals, etc.

Receiving points for your online player is based on the amount of games you play. You start off with I think 500 points to apply in each of the 3 separate categories. Then after 10 games played you get 400 more for each category to apply. After 30/60/100/150 games you receive more if you meet the grade requirements for each card.

On the main menu go to "My Pro" then "Attributes". This will take you to the screen where you increase your attributes with the points you have earned. I think your skater will pop up first so hit RB\R1 for your goalie.

Hmm. Seems weird. On last year's game I played about 150 games with an A- overall rating and never got any attribute points to apply to my player. Hopefully it changes this year.

Re: My Pro progression?

you probably weren't looking in the right place ... when you go check your attributes under My Pro, you need to be sure you're looking at your online goalie or skater and then you'll see that there are a bunch of attribute points you can sink into your stats.

I was always checking there and nothing ever came up...do you have to do anything specifically after the game is over to make sure you're awarded for playing it? I usually just wait til it gets to the pause screen and just hit exit...is there something I'm missing?

Or maybe I should wait until I get to 15-20 games played on this year's game and see if it works. Haha.
