Be a GM crashing/freeze?

Just went through a full season (season 1) and for some reason it always crashes/freezes in round 1 of the draft (either once it hits the last pick in round 1 or if i press quick draft it crashes right at that point). it also crashes the day before the draft if i send scouts anywhere at that point.

anyone else having this happen?

I already posted about having issues with Freezing and Locking Up while trying to do free agency.

yeah pretty much exact same issue. if i let the scouting assignment finish and try to assign a new one, it freezes. if i reassign before the current assignment is finished, it doesn't crash until draft day. i can't get to my own player resigns portion. i even tried trading away all my draft picks so i can skip the draft entirely but it still freezes there.

i just restarted a new be a gm career and reading all those posts on the ea forums kinda has me wanting to stop with that mode until ea releases a fix for it. very disappointing.

Yeah I'm pretty concerned as well about the freezing issues.

I can't think of too many things that would be a bigger bummer than playing through an entire 82+ game season, and then have it lock up. I mean...it's tough enough to get through a full season. Man...would I be pissed. Hopefully EA Canada looks into this.

I've been tracking this over on EA's boards. Nothing yet has come out of this there. Lots of posters with the same issues and complaints of freezing.

Knock wood, the problem gets better as you continue. I had constant freezing before or after the draft in the first two years of my Be a GM career, but I have been ok since then (I am now in year five).
