Defensive help with danglers?

Sorry if I come off as complaining but, I'm looking for some help. I play one of my friends online quite a bit and he just adapted an offensive style that frustrates the living hell out of me. It's predictable but I still have trouble taking the puck from him.

He usually comes up the left wing and effortlessly circles past my defensemen with ease like all of his players are Sideny Crosby. Like he'll get the puck and come across the blue line into the zone and streak towards the net. Whether or not I come at him with a defensemen he circles backward and then if I come at him circles back towards the net. It's frustrating as hell and I can't figure out the right strategy to stop it. When he first started using it I use to chase him but would continuously get caught out of position. I've tried waiting him out for the inevitable cross crease pass but it still gets through but waiting seems more effective than chasing. He usually dominates time of attack because of this as I can't figure out the right strategy.

Hopefully I explained this good enough. Any suggestions?

there are some online gamers who play this way. i usually try to use collapse or high pressure on Defense. plus i tried to be patient and not to chase the puck. anticipate his move then poke him. DONT DIVE (just some idiots who do this online) coz if u tripped him u'll get the penalty (with this new patch, almost 100% u'll be penalized for doing so).

Your best option is to tell him your not going to play against him if he cheeses. Other than that, keep good positioning. If you can stay between him and the net, you are not likely to get beat.

LOL. I actually did tell him last night that I was going to take a break from playing him.

Another thing to try is holding down R1 and holding your stick out with the right analog. You will not be as mobile, so make sure you are in a good position. Alot of times, you will poke the puck out automatically if you have your stick in a good spot when he tries to skate by you.

Also, if he cross crease passes a lot, if you can anticipate the pass, just lie down on the ice. You will stop any pass he tries between the tip of your stick to your skates, and, as long as you do not dive into him, you will not get called for a penalty if he trips over you.

These are just some things I have found that work for me when playing guys like that.
