Exclamation Patch is in the works

Passing this along from my community manager:

We will continue to ban players who have been cheating as we have been doing for the past month. Though we may not ban a complete team, individual players are being banned for exploiting a number of different cheats, most notably the pause and attribute glitches.

Though some may find this unfair, EA SPORTS reserves the right to discontinue online service to users who unfairly exploit glitches in the game.

This is wonderful news. Maybe goalies with quit falling to the ice now when there are cross crease passes. It gets so annoying.

Re: Patch is in the works

Will this patch online address online play issues, or offline as well?

If offline, will I have to restart my dynasty?

This actually killed the game for me. As much fun as NHL 09 is, I just couldn't do it anymore.
