NHL 09 Dynasty Tips

Are you looking to have the best possible time with NHL 09's dynasty mode? Check out the NHL 09 Dynasty Tips article by Rob Kotsaka on how to make the most of the mode and be sure to leave your own feedback as well.

Quote:
"This article is for those newer NHL gamers who have been pulled into NHL 09 by the EASHL. The online component is excellent for sure, but what to do when you are online and none of your fellow club members are on? Well you could delve into Be A Pro mode, but I would advise against that since it will rot your EASHL skills, and that would defeat what brought you to the NHL 09 party, right? So may I suggest Dynasty mode?"
Platform: Xbox 360 / PS2 / PS3 / PC

Spot on, Rob...more rightfully so since you are a fellow Sabres fan!! I do agree with you that it is difficult to not play a dynasty when the season starts, because when the Sabres lose for real I always check back and see if I won/lost the same game in my dynasty..lol

I'm still lost on what difficulty level is more "evenly balanced". Once I figure that out, I can begin my dynasty.

Right on Rob! I can't wait to have Gerbe and Tim Kennedy to use in dynasty for the Sabres plus pull Philip Gogulla and Felix Schutz from their DEL teams.

If you haven't already, try mudtiger's sliders. I was having the same problem and his sliders were the solution for me.

Good article, if short. For difficulty I tend to start at rookie and play until I get the feel, i.e. I start winning games by 5 or 6 goals consistently. Then move up a level. If when going from, say, pro to all-star it seems a bit tough, then go back to pro and try messing with the sliders a bit. Be honest with yourself and you'll have more fun.

Any of you know how to fix the broken trade player feature in dynasty mode for the PC version?
