Who has the most realistic sliders?

I'm not finding a slider set that feels "real" enough to me. Perhaps its just the game itself that doesn't allow the settings to feel real. I tried outphantoms set felt way to fast and had massive arcade style hits. Currently using al titos just cause it was a bit slower but even these I'm not loving. Played a game the other day and it was 7-1 after the first. My question I guess is it even possible to get a slider set that is and feels exactly like a real life game? Respect to all those who create sliders must be a lot of work and am not trying to sound rude, just giving out honest opinions.

In about a week I'm coming out with custom rosters to go with my realistic sliders. It will address the issues beyond the control of sliders, like overpowered hitting, lack of difference between stars and scrubs, and penalties taken.

Re: Who has the most realistic sliders?

honestly Im still fiddling with Sliders to get a Game that seems some what Legit too......

No matter what settings I have it on, my Time On Attack doubles or triples the other teams
(Superstar HardcoreSim with Hum Puck Control=0/cpu=5... passing/stick lift/poke)...no matter what I lower for Hum nothing helps enough

Im forced to Play Position Lock as thats the only Mode that gives me somewhat Realistic Games (even though my other guys on the team seem like dumb squirts).... I feel ya right now

Emerica you should come up with some sliders again. A few years ago you had an awesome set!

Re: Who has the most realistic sliders?

One of the problem is the size of the rink. It's not modeled in size right. There is too little space behind the net. Grabner skated around the NHL rink in 14.0 seconds. So in order to capture this in game one would have to have game speed and acceleration set to MAX. And that will cause the gameplay to suffer a lot.

I've been messing around with 20min sliders for the past week or so. Im trying to get actual statistics after game to look somewhat realistic. It's really hard to keep the shots taken by both teams in check. Only way to keep em low is to increase all defence related sliders to max and make offensive gameplay a lot harder in every aspect.

I've gotten penalties pretty much right and havent seen many bone crushing hits by either human or CPU. I nailed the fatigue pretty well so in last 5 mins of a period all your lines are about halfway empty.

Once i test it more i'll post em here if anyone is interested in trying them out.

Niksa, I'd be interested testing ur sliders out when ur done testing yourself only thing is I don't have time for a two hour game so might use them with 10 min periods and adjust things to work with 10 mins
