What can be done to make the computer hit more?

Hello all...

I adjust the aggression slider up and down and it doesnt seem to make much difference. I like to keep hitting power at two.

Do I need to adjust each teams stratigy? Make them all forecheck harder...

I play games and out hit the CPU 25-3. It no fun

Personally I have the aggression turned up, as well as AI Learning and I get out hit some games. They don't necessarily obliterate me like I do them (I've since turned human hitting power down), but they do make solid contact at appropriate times I'm finding.

You could up the Cpu Difficulty slider as well. What difficulty are you playing on?

The CPU on all difficulties just doesn't hit. Guess that's why the are pretty much NEVER... EVER put of position. All defenseman play like all world players regardless of ratings.

On thing this series sucks at ... Having ratings matter and effect how each player performs.

I'm convinced that the difficulty overrides ALL CPU ratings.... Hence why a team of all mid 70s all play like all stars... ZERO DIFFERANCE from player to player. None... Zip.,, zero.

It does it you play on anything about pro.
That is why if you want ratings to matter you need to play on pro and adujst the sliders from there

This is very true - for all sports games. This is exactly why I ONLY play on Pro (the "medium" difficulty level).

The difference between NHL and NBA 2K in this regard is that in 2K, they literally display the attribute boosts given to the AI in-game, whereas NHL does not. But I can guarantee that from All-Star, the CPU players gain boosts in speed, passing, shooting and goaltending attributes. I dislike this artificial aspect of making games more "difficult."

Don't know what game you're playing, but the Cpu hits plenty when I play and are aggressive to the point it's usually not to difficult to skate to net. If you want more separation you could up the Attribute effect slider. As stated though, it's more of an artificial fix.
