Re: **mkharsh33 NHL12 PRO SLIDERS**

Because of the Pro level, the cpu is given some boosts, but I believe they are necessary to maintain the challenge at this level. Personally I am tired of what I'm seeing at the higher difficulty levels and believe many video games are played in their purest form at the lower levels.

I've seen the start stand out, goalie animations are quite amazing at times, and these provide a great amount of different types of games. Don't let the pro level fool you.

If you are finding these are too easy for you, then there's no doubt you're a much better player than I am and don't belong at this level. But this year I want to avoid the frustrations of the higher levels and I plan to purchase this game (in spite of all the issues) because of ONE reason: I LOVE hockey!!!

Hope you enjoy these! Feedback welcome and appreciated...

Just curious, did these sliders make the game playable for you?

Not trying to be an *** by saying that, just wondering if the sliders made the game better for someone who was pretty disappointed with the demo.

I'll try these tonight. I'm curious about the "boosts" you mention though for PRO. That's all I've been playing on with this game and have yet to see any type of boosts. I thought that was pretty much All Star and up.

I believe he was saying that he gave the CPU some boosts with these sliders because of the ease of playing on Pro.

Anyways, I'm still working on my set, but I agree that it just feels more natural on pro (goalies especially). Just tough to find a balance where the CPU can challenge more.

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL12 PRO SLIDERS**

MK I'm really interested in trying these out. I normally play on All Star or Superstar but I want to see how these play out with the attribute and difficulty sliders maxed out to see if it gives me a challenge. I know you love to base sliders off of the lower difficulties for every game you play. In fact I've used your NCAA and Madden sliders before and they have played really well on the pro level.

As of right now I'm just kind of messing around with the game to get a feel for it. I want to see which level plays the best. At times with All Star and Superstar goofy stuff tends to happen.

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL12 PRO SLIDERS**

By "boost" I mean the cpu needs the added slider advantages. The reason I don't like the higher levels is because of the "cheat" factor (or whatever term is used). I never feel cheated at the Pro level. I lost a game 6-0...won 4-1...lost 2-0...lost 3-2...won 4-2. So a good variety. One problem you may find is the cpu's offensive zone time might be low...BUT, I LOVE the way they look for the long pass and hit guys at the blue line. You have to be willing to concede some stuff, but the shot totals are very sound.

(and in my 2nd post I meant the "stars" stand out quite well with this set.)

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL12 PRO SLIDERS**

Tried these out. Only had one game so can't really give a "yay" or "nay". But, so far I like them. What I did, and usually do when testing sliders, is I have a great team against a bad team. In this case, I was Florida playing Pittsburgh.

They won 3 -1, which was a nice change because I won every game on PRO with other sliders. Also, I didn't really feel like there was a "boost" because of the CPU difficulty maxed. If anything, I think it leveled out the playing field, yet kept the human factor involved.

Tomorrow, I'll reverse the teams and play as Pittsburgh. It's a good test to see how the teams play. Theoretically, Pitt should dominate. Now, there are games where the "lesser" team wins, but I think you'll still get a good feel for it. (Or as some did the past years for testing, play Canada vs Japan. Change off teams.)

Anyway, good start with these.
