5 minute period sliders???

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone is still playing with 5 min periods and if so what sliders are they using. I have tried many on here with 10 min etc and its just too long of a game for my liking. I know I am in the minority on that....any help would be appreciated

You will never get anything even closely resembling realistic gameplay or stats with 5 minute periods

Re: 5 minute period sliders???

I am looking more for realistic scores in a 5 min game than I am realistic stats...I know I am not going to have a goalie with a top gaa or save % with such short games, but I just don't like the 10 min periods.

Though I did try your sliders and did like them

Re: 5 minute period sliders???

I play 5 minutes periods myself, since I find that 10 minutes periods are too long. Doing so, you may not have fully realistic statistics and numbers, but you can still have a good realistic gameplay, which is the most important thing. I posted my sliders in another thread, but I'm really not saying they are perfect or the best out there. Just try tweaking things with the sliders until you find what you think is good for you, one thing is for sure, you can have a fun and realistic game with 5 minutes periods too.

I agree I played 5 min periods in all my previous years with the nhl series and enjoyed it. I just didnt like playing a hockey game where it was taking as long or longer than some of the baseball games i played.

I will check out your sliders....

Good luck to the habs....except against the b's
