Re: SuperStar Slider Settings

Good to see you posting sliders for this year man, i ran with yours for 08 and loved em. I told myself I wasnt gonna touch the sliders this year but all star default is gettin way too easy, and superstar default is like asking for me to punch things, so I think its back to sliders

Re: SuperStar Slider Settings

SS 10 minutes, sliders from 1st post

CBJ 2 (me) - TB 3

cb - 1 - 0 - 1 -- 2
tb - 0 - 2 - 1 -- 3

CBJ/TB
shots 23/43
face 18/12
toa 5:47/7:36
pp 0/3 1/2

I was dominated in the 2nd period after a decent 1st period. I got a goal late in the 3rd and couldn't get the tying goal.

Overall I liked the speed, fatigue, shot accuracy+power, and pass speed. Could be because I've played my last 5 or so games on all-star, but I couldn't forecheck and hold the puck in the offensive zone while TB could set up and do as they pleased most of the time. I'll have to play more games on SS to get my SS skills back I probably need to create some offensive zone plays too so I can hold the puck more.

Definitely a huge difference between all-star and SS. Seemed like last year there wasn't such a huge step up between the levels.

Re: SuperStar Slider Settings

Great job with these (as usual) Catch!! Game speed and player movement and control felt real good.
I used them for 2 games today on all-star and they played great! I saw tons of cool animations, variety of shots and plays, several breakaways each and 3 penalties for each team.
I lost as the Caps to Carolina in a shootout. 2 nice goals by Ovechkin for me, one on a 1 on 1 semi breakaway. I deked around the D, put on the brakes and rifled a shot over the goalie's shoulder. The second one was a rebound where he fought through traffic and filpped one in. Both goals looked sweet, as did my 3rd. 2 rebound goals which was a good sign and Carolina scored all 3 of theirs on similar garbage rebounds.
Everyone is saying penalties are rare in this game but 3 each doesn't seem so bad to me. I can live with that.

Re: SuperStar Slider Settings

Made some adjustments. Not sure to keep shot accuracy at 1 or 0.

Other than that everything is fine so far.

Re: SuperStar Slider Settings

Thanks. Nice to see your sliders for 09. Just a few questions... how long periods, what about penalties and fighting sliders?
