Tomba,

Just curious what kind of stats you're seeing with 12 minute halves. It seems as if someone is running motion/half court sets the overall stats would be a bit low.

Are you seeing a decent amount of fouls with settings that low and do you notice any CPU cheese on the All American level?

Thanks.

Have you tried these?
Two things stick out to me by looking at them.
1. The half lenght of 12 minutes, how can you get a realistic score and fg % with 12 minutes.
2. The user shooting sliders. I already hit too many 3's with it at 50 much less 75.

Haven't tried them yet. 12 minutes is a concern for me because I play to the tempo that is appropriate against the team I'm playing. Timing for halves is always a personal thing. 18 works for me in my DePaul and Ohio State dynasties.

My belief has always been that the main difference in difficulty levels in basketball games is shot percentage. Live, 2k, etc. The higher the play level, fewer shots go in for you and more go in for the CPU. Maybe these settings off set that a bit.

All-American is tricky and I stay with it for a reason. That reason is because it seems the most animations get brought out. my job then is to make sure it plays as realistically as it can with such a high difficulty and also play fairly to the user. So no, no cheesin to be found...

Conceivably you could up the minutes to 15. I set it at 12 so that the shots taken would be right

Re: ***Tomba NCAA Basketball 10 Sliders***

I upped my halves to 14 minutes and made some changes to the in air collision foul frequency because I was only getting to the line about one or two times a game, sometimes none. Also noticed how few layups were going in for the user, so I changed that a bit. For those concerned about the shooting, it works out pretty good. I shoot about 40% or so from the field. Granted not all my shots are good ones but I play an up-tempo style so I get up a lot of shots. All in all great sliders.
