Here's the thing, I love his line height, etc., but people keep tinkering for different reasons...Matt's sliders are for legendary and he has speed down to 30, etc. There are reasons for this, but in my mind a compact line is only really going to affect the cpu as humans still have to constantly switch to defend. Since switching my players to free-form from organized in tactics some of my backline problems disappeared as players will slot in to fill space. Most goals I give up now are my fault when the cpu gets me running ragged and pulls me out of position.

I don't see a need to switch up lines, but if someone sees something by all means let me know, I'm open to switching things. Right now I feel I'm getting really good games, and I don't tinker much when I'm feeling good about this. Anyone else noticing things that they want to test or tinker with?

Supposedly there are tons of people complaining on EA's forums without any responses as to the why. It's been an issue since 9/27.

Glad we aint the only ones then mate anyway back on track had a great first season with the sliders with arsenal won the league on the last day off the season as man city needed to win and for me to lose they drew and i won 3-1 to win the league by 3 points really enjoyed it as well if i am been honest beat bayern in the champions league on pens as well currently 3 games into my second season won all 3

So, my next match is against Arsenal for the Capital One Cup Final.

In the January Transfer Window I used a Financial Takeover due to massive injuries throughout my squad: Starting striker, starting winger, 1st and 2nd team keepers, and a starting CB.

I bought Varane (CB, 81ovr), Pogba (CM, 83ovr), Aubemeyang (RM/ST, 79ovr), and Scuffet (GK, 72ovr). I did look at other young players, but they're so stinking expensive that these were by far the best options for holes I needed to fill. Didn't buy Aubemeyang until the final day as an offer came in for Rodriguez that allowed me the money and extra wages to buy Aubemeyang.

I justify it because I was sitting 2nd in the league, and still am tied on points with Chelsea, but down due to goal differential.

Last game was against Liverpool and while the game before against Coventry was a 3-2 struggle I dominated Liverpool from the get go possession wise, and then finally scored in the 68th before getting a second goal in the 83rd, and a final goal in the 90th to win 3-0.

They started numerous second stringers...but really couldn't put together anything on the attack.

I don't know why the huge disparity at times, I barely beat Coventry and believe me it could have gone either way, and then Liverpool fails to show up...perhaps it's realistic, we'll see.

Curious how things are going for everyone else. If sliders need tweaking I rely upon what people are seeing, and haven't heard much lately...so either you guys are enjoying or have moved on to other sliders.

If you're still using mine or variations of mine let me know what's working well, and what isn't. Thanks!

I'm Back to default on most settings myself. Seems I have a tougher time scoring with default lines as any change to them and the CPU loses it physicality and I can score at will and never draw a foul/free kick. I have tried everything and no matter the changes, the fouls just dry up once you change lines, marking, keepers, or first touch. There has to be some bug or something going on with this as changing certain sliders effect other things it should not and I also think the tactics issues are tied into all this in some way as well.

I have tried your sliders and they are good but i do think there are too many goals.
Maybe if you change the lines like orions it will be tighter games and harder to score. I will try tonight and return with my results

I tend to agree with your thoughts to a certain degree. I can draw fouls when I want, the problem tends to be how often you run around sprinting, the less I sprint and/or the more I change up my speed the more fouls I seem to draw.

I stand by tactics are HUGE this year, and I don't think people are paying enough attention to them. I may go back to default lines except for length as I felt default was resulting in the cpu defenders parking the bus in almost every match, which wasn't any fun either.

Goals on both sides, or just goals by you? Have to ask because I'm not giving up tons of goals. Interested in what you think of his sliders now, they almost seem to compact to me, but I haven't tried them so I don't want to criticize something I haven't tried.

Interested to see how they play.

The problem is we can always find a way to exploit the lines when we start tweaking. Narrow lines allow exploitation on the outsides, whereas wide lines give too much space in the middle. Something's off, but I can't put my finger on what, and that being said I think, more than ever, most of it is right.

I may go back and test default lines again, now that I'm better at the game they may feel different, and result in better games.
